2. Over 20 Years of Experience in Cellulose Manufacturing

Established in 2003, Hunan Sentai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. specializes in the research and development, production, and sales of carboxymethyl cellulose ether products. We are based in Tianyi Industrial Park, Xiangtan, Hunan Province, China, where we have developed our expertise in the cellulose industry over more than two decades.

Our manufacturing facility covers approximately 15,000 square meters, and our team includes more than 100 employees. With registered capital of RMB 13.9 million, we have established a manufacturing foundation supported by production equipment, testing facilities, and a quality management system.

Our current annual production capacity reaches approximately 10,000 tons of CMC and 5,000 tons of CMS. This capacity supports our ability to serve customers across multiple industries and meet a range of industrial material requirements.

Our business combines three key capabilities:

  • Research and development: We develop cellulose-based products and work to improve product characteristics to meet different application requirements.

  • Manufacturing and quality management: We rely on established manufacturing processes, production equipment, testing facilities, and quality management practices to support our operations.

  • Domestic and international supply: We serve customers throughout China and export our products to international markets across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa.

By combining industry experience with in-house manufacturing and product development, we aim to build long-term relationships with customers who value consistent communication, suitable product specifications, and dependable supply arrangements.

At the 140th Canton Fair, we presented three major product categories: Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC), Sodium Carboxymethyl Starch (CMS), and Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC).

Each product serves different industrial requirements. We work with customers to understand their intended applications and identify product options that align with their technical specifications and processing conditions.

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC)

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, commonly known as CMC, is a water-soluble cellulose derivative used in a wide range of industrial formulations. Depending on the grade and application, CMC can provide functions such as thickening, viscosity control, water retention, stabilization, and binding.

Our CMC products serve industries including papermaking, paints and coatings, construction materials, detergents and personal care products, ceramics, textile printing and dyeing, and other industrial applications.

Because different production processes require different viscosity levels, dissolution characteristics, and formulation properties, selecting the right CMC grade is an important part of raw material procurement.

We welcome discussions with customers about their application requirements, desired product characteristics, and relevant technical specifications. By understanding these details, we can help identify suitable product options for further evaluation.

Fast-Dissolving CMC: Developed for Industrial Needs

One of the key products we highlighted at the exhibition was our independently developed fast-dissolving CMC series, characterized by high viscosity and rapid dissolution.

In industrial production, dissolution behavior can influence raw material preparation, mixing procedures, and processing efficiency. When the product grade matches the formulation and processing conditions, fast-dissolving CMC can help simplify material preparation and support more efficient production workflows.

At the same time, different applications require different viscosity and functional properties. We therefore encourage buyers to consider both dissolution performance and the requirements of their end-use processes when selecting a suitable grade.

Our focus on fast-dissolving CMC reflects our commitment to product development and practical customer needs. If you are evaluating fast-dissolving CMC for your production process, we welcome you to contact us to discuss available product grades, technical specifications, and sample evaluation options where available.

Sodium Carboxymethyl Starch (CMS)

Sodium Carboxymethyl Starch (CMS) is another important product in our portfolio. As a modified starch derivative, CMS can provide functional properties in suitable industrial formulations, depending on the product grade and intended use.

When evaluating CMS, buyers may need to consider product properties, compatibility with other ingredients, processing conditions, and quality requirements. Understanding these factors helps determine whether a particular grade is appropriate for the intended application.

With an annual CMS production capacity of approximately 5,000 tons, we have an established manufacturing base to support discussions with industrial customers seeking a potential long-term supplier.

We welcome inquiries from manufacturers and distributors interested in our CMS products and are ready to discuss relevant product information based on their requirements.

Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC)

Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC) is another key product we offer. It is widely used in industrial fluid systems, particularly oil and gas drilling-fluid formulations, where suitable grades can help control fluid properties and support fluid-loss management.

The appropriate PAC grade depends on the application environment, formulation, and technical specifications. We encourage buyers to share their intended use and performance expectations so that we can discuss potentially suitable product options.

By offering CMC, CMS, and PAC, we provide customers with access to a range of cellulose-based materials through one experienced manufacturing partner.

4. Cellulose Solutions for Multiple Industries

Our products serve a wide range of industries, where cellulose derivatives can perform different functions depending on their grades, formulations, and operating conditions.

Our application areas include:

  • Papermaking: We supply cellulose-based materials for suitable binding and formulation requirements in paper production.

  • Paints and coatings: Appropriate CMC grades can contribute to viscosity adjustment and formulation stability.

  • Construction materials: Selected cellulose products can support water retention and workability in compatible formulations.
